| BECOMING A HERO | BEING BORN A HERO - With one super hero parent and one normal parent the child is more than likely to inherit the power of their parent. But with two super hero parents it is unlikely that the child will inherit both powers, however it is not unheard of. It is also possible for children with super hero parents to not inherit any powers at all.
BEING MADE A HERO - Classically the way to gain super powers is to be bitten by a radioactive animal, thrown into toxic waste or injected with serum. The last is the most common with people selling powers on the streets, but not all of the vendors are to be trusted and some powers turn out completely different than expected.
HOWEVER - Being a hero isn't just about the powers. There are other ways to be a hero that doesn't involve super parents or being in range of a glowing tiger.
